An accomplished still photographer who is also a Director/Cameraman. No big deal these days with everyone shooting motion with their still cameras right? Well, Steve Murray has been shooting film since 1990, so he has 20+ years of experience shooting motion. He began shooting 16mm film with a Bolex, then moved to 35mm Arriflex cameras before shifting to HD in 2002 with a Panasonic Varicam. He now shoots with the latest RED Epic 5K digital cinema camera.
In the last few years he has directed TV spots and shot stills for: NC Travel & Tourism, The Renaissance Aruba, Jamaica%u2019s Superclubs Resorts (Breezes, Grand Lido, Starfish and Hedonism), The Club at Mirasol, Weyerhaeuser Paper, Asheville Tourism, The Grove Park Inn, Kentucky Tourism, The Homestead Resort, Bonita Bay Properties, and Our Lucaya Resort.
He likes to travel and will go anywhere / shoot anything. You know, one of those "the world is my studio" types. So far he has photographed all of the major Caribbean islands, The Bahamas, Panama, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, China, Morocco, Bali, Java, Hong Kong, Bermuda, England, Scotland, Mexico, and Canada.
